On Wednesday, October 21, the Clark County Workforce Council organized a bus tour for local high school technology classes. Students were from the Loyal, Neillsville, Granton, and Greenwood, WI communities. Roughly 60 participants toured three different facilities in the Neillsville Industrial Park. The students were divided into groups that were rotated to the different companies over the course of the morning.
Chuck Johnson, Neillsville Plant Manager, conducted a presentation to explain what we do at MEC as well as educated the students on the various job opportunities offered throughout the company. He stressed the different technology fields that have become important to our continued growth. After the brief presentation, the students were given a tour of both the Neillsville North and Neillsville South MEC facilities.
We'd like to extend a special thanks to the Clark County Workforce Council for organizing the tour and to the students who attended our presentation and toured our Neillsville facilities. We appreciate you taking time to learn more about MEC and the many wonderful career opportunities available at our 100% employee owned company!
