Mayville Engineering Company Adds Key Individuals to their Growing Team
Mayville Engineering Company, Inc., (MEC) announced the addition of several key individuals to their Team.
Kyle Knous has joined the Company as Sales Manager for MEC’s Prototype division. Knous is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating sales, quotation and marketing activities and developing and executing sales plans. Knous has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bradley University.
Dean Durow has joined MEC as Materials Manager. He will be responsible for customer demand scheduling, internal capacity planning, inventory management and shipping and receiving of MEC products. Durow has over 25 years experience in the manufacturing/materials areas and is a University of Wisconsin Whitewater graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Production/Mfg. and Information Systems. He also has training in Lean Manufacturing practices.
Jim Heller has joined the Company as a Weld Supervisor. Heller is responsible for manual and robotic welding and metal finishing. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology with an emphasis on Materials and Process from the University of Wisconsin Platteville. He has also completed professional development training in Six Sigma, 5S and Lean Manufacturing.
Mike Wisnefsky has joined the Company as a Process Engineer. Wisnefsky’s primary responsibilities include the launch and maintenance of new and existing projects. He is a recent graduate of U.W. Madison where he earned his degree in Industrial and Electrical Engineering.
Matthew Grabowski has joined MEC as a Sales Engineer. In this role, Grabowski will be responsible for customer collaboration, quoting, and project management. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Manufacturing from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois.
Ken Erdman has joined MEC as a Quality Engineer. Erdman holds a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Operations Management from Marian University in Fond du Lac as well as an Associate degree in Applied Science majoring in Electronics from MATC in Madison. He has obtained his Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from the University of Milwaukee.
Gary Malcolm has joined MEC’s Quality Team as a Quality Engineer. Malcolm has 26 years of experience in the quality and inspection fields. He earned his Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from Moraine Park Technical College and has training in Quality Problem Solving and Quality Concepts, Lean Manufacturing Principles, ISO 9001;2000 Accredited Lead Auditor Training and BSI Internal Audits among others.
Justin DeLany has joined the Company as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt/CI in MEC’s Continuous Improvement area. DeLany holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering, is an AWS Certified Welding Inspector, an ASNT Visual Inspector Level II, a Lean Associate and Six Sigma Green Belt from the Better Business Consortium and holds Lean Six Sigma Green and Black Belt certifications from Cooper Industries. Delany is currently working on receiving his Black Belt CSSBB from the American Society for Quality and will complete his Master’s in Engineering Management from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
Todd Goebel has also joined the Company as a Green Belt in MEC’s Continuous Improvement area. Goebel holds a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Management from the Milwaukee School of Engineering, an Associate Degree from Moraine Park Technical College in Fond du Lac, and received his Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Lakeshore Technical College. Todd recently tested for Black Belt certification and results are pending.
