Voting began September 9th with over 150 companies nominated, including MEC. In a March Madness style bracket, the field was narrowed to 16, then 8, and now the final 4. This annual contest hosted by WMC (Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce) & Johnson Financial Group aims to highlight the state’s manufacturing industry by showcasing the great products made in Wisconsin. This year, MEC Outdoors 400 Defender Clay Target Machine was nominated as one of the Coolest Things Made in Wisconsin. Launched earlier this year at the 2019 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, this machine was designed and built by MEC Outdoors with their customers in mind.
