On February 6th, the Heber Springs Area Chamber of Commerce presented MEC Heber Springs with the “2019 Outstanding Business of the Year” award during their annual banquet. This award recognizes an area business annually for leadership, community service, and having a positive impact on the Heber Springs Community.
MEC recognition included Career Days at the Middle School and Arkansas State University, support of Haven House shelter for victims of domestic violence, Arkansas Economic Development Commission plant tours, Community Service Award from The United Way of North Central Arkansas Food Drive, sponsorship for the 4th of July Fireworks Celebration, facility tour and presentation to Congressman Crawford’s team and Educators as part of the STEAM Program, our welders participated in the Cleburne County Cares Golf Tournament, and the 2019 Toy Drive to support the New Life Church Outreach Christmas Mall.
