The ISO 9001:2015 certification demonstrates MEC’s serious approach to quality. The ISO certification is recognized globally and verifies that MEC maintains a quality management system to promote improvement of overall performance and attainment of customer requirements.
MEC’s Beaver Dam East, Beaver Dam West, Bedford, Defiance North, Defiance Seneca, Greenville, Heber Springs, Mayville, Neillsville, Vanderbilt and Wautoma facilities are ISO 9001:2015 certified.
ISO 14001:2015 Environmental
MEC’s ISO 14001:2015 certification spells out the environmental management system and coordination with the other quality management systems. The employee shareholders of MEC are focused on minimizing the impact on the environment and participate in numerous programs to reduce energy usage, minimize waste, and recycle.
MEC’s facilities in Atkins, Byron Center, Defiance North, Defiance Seneca, Heber Springs, Neillsville and Wayland are ISO 14001:2015 Environmental certified.
IATF 16949:2016
The IATF certification emphasizes quality processes and defect reduction in the supply chain. It is designed primarily for the automotive market. MEC’s IATF certification supports our extensive production for the automotive and commercial vehicle markets.
