MEC Outdoors, of Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. (MEC) is pleased to announce they have been seeded 5th in the top 16 bracket of the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin Contest. This annual contest hosted by the WMC (Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce) & Johnson Bank is a tribute to companies with products that are made in Wisconsin.

This year, MEC Outdoors 400 Defender Clay Target Machine was nominated as one of the Coolest Things Made in Wisconsin. Launched earlier this year at the 2019 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, this machine was designed and built by MEC Outdoors with their customers in mind. The 400 Defender is an affordable clay target machine with unmatched target presentations and unrivaled features.

The DEFENDER name was inspired from the use of American made steel components and the American workforce; to DEFEND the American heritage and workmanship.
