Meet Our Accounting Intern, Jack!
This is Jack’s second year with MEC. Jack is currently attending the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, where he plans to graduate in December of 2019 with his degree in Accounting & Finance. Our Accounting & Finance Team has Jack working on projects such as sale margin projections, 5-year forecasting for departments, worker’s productivity and much more. Before coming to MEC for his second year, Jack studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark to learn about global accounting and finance. We asked Jack what his favorite part about interning at MEC was, and here is what he said:
“My favorite part about interning at MEC is working for a company that has, and continues to be, successful not only regionally, but nationally. MEC made me feel like an integral member of the company by investing in me as an intern. They took me on a business trip to visit one of their facilities in Michigan, so that I could gain exposure to other areas of the company. Another part of interning at MEC that I enjoy, is witnessing first-hand all of the different departments working hard towards a common goal, and then executing that goal and staying above the competition. They guide and teach you valuable business lessons that will be pivotal in your future professional career.”
