In 2022 MEC was once again named the #1 company on the FAB 40 list of the nation's largest fabricators in an annual survey published by The Fabricator magazine. This is the twelvth consecutive year that MEC has led the list.
Fabricator of the Year Industry Award
In 2016 MEC was named the winner of the 2016 Industry Award presented by the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, Intl. (FMA). The award is presented to a top fabrication company who has successfully improved operations, attained business success, and contributed to both the local and industrial communities.

MEC was named the Manufacturer of the Year for 2013 by the Mayville (Wisconsin) Chamber of Commerce. MEC is proud to call Mayville home with both the corporate headquarters and two manufacturing facilities located in the community.
MEC Ranks Among Top Private Companies in Wisconsin
The Wisconsin 75 is a group of the state's largest privately held companies, compiled by accounting and business consulting firm Deloitte. In 2018 MEC ranked number 48, the fourteenth year on the Wisconsin 75 list. The Wisconsin 75 recognizes more than just revenue - the program recognizes business contributions to the communities in which they are located, the people who build the business and the overall Wisconsin economy.

MEC has been named one of the fastest-growing private companies as part of the prestigious Inc. 5000 list. By achieving 73% growth over the past three years, MEC placed number 3977 among the 5,000 companies in 2016. The Inc. 5000 features the nation's most successful private companies and many of the best known brands gained early exposure as members of the Inc. 5000.
Manufacturer Of The Year Special Award For Community Involvement and Conservation Education
Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is proud to have been announced as the winner of the Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year Special Award for Community Involvement and Conservation Education.
Bob Kamphuis accepted this award on behalf of all the employee shareholders "a huge thanks goes out to the dedication of each employee shareholder. Employee shareholders should stand proud for being selected as a nominee of the MOTY award and winner of a Special Award. WInning an award in this competition makes a strong statement about the quality of the organization, our employee shareholders, and our prominence in the manufacturing community.
Forty Wisconsin businesses have been nominated for the 22nd Annual Manufacturer of the Year Awards (MOTY) for oustanding achievements in manufacturing. Winners were announced at a black-tie awards dinner and program on Thursday, February 25, 2010, at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee. The MOTY Awards recognize Wisconsin companies that demonstrate a commitment to business excellence which has a positive impact on the company and the state, making Wisconsin a better place to live, work and play.
The Grand Awards are categorized based on employee count; small, medium, large, and mega. MEC was nominated into the Mega-Company category for companies with over 750 employees, as well as the Sustainability category.

Ranked Top Workplace in Southeast Wisconsin by Employees
During the most turbulent economic stretch in generations, The Journal Sentinel sets out to identify some of the companies and organizations in southeast Wisconsin that consider it an obligation, or at least smart buisiness, to give their employees a fair shake and a fulfilling work experience.
To do this, The Journal Sentinel invited workers to nominate their employers, and enlisted the help of workplace consulting firm WorkplaceDynamics to survey tens of thousands of workers in the region.
The result is a fascinating and diverse list of organizations, large and small, that are finding creative and exciting ways to engage and retain employees.
Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. placed 19th on the Top 100 list. MEC was entered into the Top Midsize Workplaces along with about 60 other companies in the same category.
Community Improvement Award
The Mayville area Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Mayville presented Mayville Engineering Company a community Improvement Award for the renovation done on the old Maysteel building on Horicon Street to turn it into a beautiful addition to the City. CEO, President and Chairman Bob Kamphuis stated that "We saw it as an opportunity to polish something up. A lot of things had to come together to get this done. Our people are very proud we could accomplish this." The redesign of the exterior was done by Robert Hartmann of Racine who hand drew the artist's rendering of the building in two weeks. The older section of the building was completely gutted during the renovation.
Welding Achievement Award
In June 1998, Mayville Engineering Company, Inc was selected in the first annual Welding Achievement Awards sponsored by Welding Design & Fabrication magazine. MEC was one of only three winners.
Manufacturer of the Year
In February 1993 and again in February, 1996, MEC was named the Manufacturer of the Year receiving the Grand Award in the large size company category. This competition, co-sponsored by the Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce (WMC) Association, and Virchow, Krause, & Company is held state-wide. An independent panel of judges, including leaders in business, education, and the business press evaluate all nominees. The Grand Award is based on the company's commitment to its employees, overall quality, export activity, and total growth.
Mr. Jim Haney, President of the WMC said, "With all the talk about foreign competition, we tend to overlook the achievements of American manufacturers. Many of the world's most successful companies in their respective industries are right here in Wisconsin." Mayville Engineering Company, Inc was honored to be recognized as one of these firms.
